What Are Cranberries

Cranberries are small edible berries which mainly grow in the cooler regions of the world such as Canada, United States and Europe. They belong to the same family as blueberries, bilberries, huckleberries and blackberries, and are harvested between September and December.



The bush is an evergreen, low hanging shrub which covers the ground with the vines which can grow up to 2 meters long, and range from 5 to 20 cm high.
