Endometrial Cancer

Endometrial cancer is a cancer of the womb, also known as the uterus where the fetus is developed. The uterus resembles the shape of a pear or a papaya and is located in the pelvic area. The wall of the uterus is made up of two linings: the inner lining, known as the endometrium, and an outer lining of muscle tissue, known as the myometrium. The endometrial cancer is formed within the cells of the endometrium.
