Popular belief has it that sweating causes body; however, that might not always be the case because many people who sweat a lot do not have body odor, while many who do not sweat seem to have problems with it.
Although it is true that body odor generally increases while one sweats, it does not necessarily mean that it is the cause of it. The reason the odor increases is not because of the sweat, but rather, by the toxic waste material that is excreted along with the sweat. The more toxins that are stored in the body, the worse the odor will be.
Therefore, sweating should never be stopped in the attempt to tackle body odor. Instead, it should be promoted in order to allow the body to release as many of those toxins as possible. For once the toxins are gone, the odor will be gone as well.

What Causes Body Odor
Body odor is usually brought about when a person begins to sweat, and therefore it is commonly believed that it is the sweating that causes body odor. The body has two different types of sweat glands; the eccrine glands, which are located over the skin’s surface, and the apocrine glands which are located in the underarm and groin areas.
The eccrine glands are designed to control the body temperature, and thus they normally do not produce an offensive odor. Read More...
