Endometrial Cancer

Endometrial cancer is a cancer of the womb, also known as the uterus where the fetus is developed. The uterus resembles the shape of a pear or a papaya and is located in the pelvic area. The wall of the uterus is made up of two linings: the inner lining, known as the endometrium, and an outer lining of muscle tissue, known as the myometrium. The endometrial cancer is formed within the cells of the endometrium.

Cervical Cancer

Cervical cancer is a type of uterine cancer. It is a slow-growing malignant cancer which forms in the cells on the surface of the cervix. The cervix is located in the pelvic area and is actually the lower part of the uterus which connects the uterus to the vagina (birth canal).

There are two main types of cancerous cells in cervical cancer.

Squamous cell carcinomas: 80 to 90 percent of all cervical cancers are squamous cell carcinomas. These begin in the thin skin-like cells that line the bottom of the cervix.

Health Benefits of the Acai Berry

The acai berry is grown in the rainforests of South America. The palm trees which they grow on are slender palms and can range anywhere from 15 to 30 meters in height, with their leaves up to 3 meters in length.

The fruit, is only a small, round berry which measures only about 1 inch in circumference. The berry is a deep purple and somewhat resembles a blueberry. It has one large seed in the center, which takes up about 80 percent of the acai berry.
